The plot of this book is very interesting. The whole idea of being able to each others thoughts is both scary and fascinating. To not have the privacy of your own mind, definitely not something we are used to. The plot is also very fast paced with many cliff-hangers and twists. 

The writing style is very unique. I must admit that you have to get used to it. I needed around 50 pages, but then I was hooked. I think the writing style adds to the authenticity of what Todd was going through, to the world he is living in. In my opinion the writing was fabulous.

Todd is a great and very realistic character. When he is put in some difficult situations he reacts the way most people would do. He has a lot of frustration, anger but also curiosity. He is full of pride. He is stubborn. He doesn't want help from others. But he also has a sweet and caring side. He can be protective and thoughtful. All in all he is real character, with flaws and weaknesses but also strengths. What I also liked is the growth of his character through the book. It was simply beautiful to see him grow.

I also though the villains of this book were amazing. Villains I like to be evil and nasty. And this book has them. I loved hating them.

I really enjoyed this book and I am also very exited to pick up the next one in this amazing series.
